According to Tesla options on Q4 there is 74kWh LG batteries on LR cars with 71kWh usable capacity LG cells with BT38 option code, I was not able to find any VIN code which is say it have 79kWh or different HV battery.
in the VIN there is no code incoorporated which indicates the type of cells u have…only BT38 gives u indication that u have LG 75er…BT43 would have given u LG 79er…BT42 gives indication of having Panasonic 82er

Hab meinen am 23.11. zugelassen, mit 77kWh. Aber ehrlich gesagt ist es mir auch egal was drin steht, Hauptsache ich weis was drin ist. Deshalb renne ich nicht nochmal zur Zulassung.

perhaps i don´t get it what u are saying…but if u have BT38 u are stuck with LG 75 er…there is no chance in picking up more capacity by OTA…only the charging curve is improved lately

Ich verstehe nicht, warum der Eintrag in der ZB I für viele so wichtig ist. Das ist doch nur ein informativer Eintrag und ändert nichts an der echten Kapazität des Akkus. Was soll denn da und wie „schief“ gehen?
Bei der Gelegenheit @anon34537478 : Wäre es nicht besser, in unserem deutschen Forum auch in „deutsch“ zu schreiben. Wer das nicht kann, kann ja den Google-Übersetzer nutzen.

Geht nicht um die 2kWh, sondern um die 2000€ weniger die der 77kWh M3 gekostet hat.

Das geht doch aus der VIN hervor. Kann man dekodieren und sieht welcher Akku drin ist.
Das VIN System ist leider überhaupt nicht eindeutig…
