Hello everyone. I am a Danish citizen who just moved to Germany and I just bought a model 3. Now I want to apply for BAFA umweltbonus. In this regard I have to answer the following:
„Wie wollen Sie sich authentifizieren?“
and choose between:
Nutzerkonto Bund
Keine elektronische Authentifizierung
^^side note: „Mit der Anmeldung könne Sie die Vorteile des Nutzerkonto Bund nutzen. Damit können Sie Ihre hinterlegten Kontaktdaten in das Formular übernehmen. Falls Sie sich noch nicht für das Nutzerkonto Bund registriert haben, können Sie hierüber auch die Registrierung durchführen. Weiterhin entfällt bei der Authentifizierung mit dem ELSTER-Zertifikat oder dem neuen Personalausweis die händische Unterschrift im Antrag. Zudem können Ihnen die Bescheide über das Nutzerkonto direkt in Ihr hinterlegtes Postfach zugestellt werden.“
What should I choose here as a Danish citizen who don’t have „Nutzerkonto Bund“ nor „ELSTER-Zertifikat“ nor German „Personalausweis“?
Welcome to Germany and congratulations to your M3.
You have to choose „Keine elektronische Authentifizierung“ (what is true for the huge majority of Germans) and continue the process.
The only advantage with electronic authentification is that you need not to separately sign the „Erklärung der wahrheitsgemäßen Angaben“ (Confirmation of truth of data).
After entering all your data and then uploading the invoice of your car, you will be offered a download of this „Erklärung…“. Download the document, print it, sign it, scan it as PDF and then upload it again. (Be sure to choose the appropiate document type when uploading. I don’t remember the German term, maybe someone else here does.)
If you are not sure just ask again. It ist crucial to make no mistakes during the process otherwise your application will at least be delayed, most probably rejected and invalidated.
And you will get an email with your case number during this process. Be patient, this can take a while, but you’ll need that mail to be able to upload that document („Erklärung der wahrheitsgemäßen Angaben“) so that it can be attached to your case.
And make sure you just choose the basic model 3 - 2022 (probably?) nothing with LR or Performance - even if you do have the LR or Performance
Otherwise you won’t get the full amount.
I did not know what this „Nutzerkonto Bund“ was, never heard of it.
Clicked it, opened an account there and continued with the Bafa.
It worked !
It does not make a difference how you authenticate, that „Bund“ account is an option. Never had it before in previous Bafa cases.
Nope !
Make sure the invoice shows the correct model in the listing (first line most likely).
And than choose that during the process.
Also make sure that the amount due of the invoice on that line is equal to or less than the one on the bafa list.
